This invitational exhibition features the best works from the recent live exhibits RED and ORANGE presented by Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada, plus some works that have never been shown before. My painting "Kuytai" will be included.

Annual online juried exhibition of the International Association of Pastel Societies.

An international, juried show presented by the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada and shown at the Priscilla Fowler Fine Art Gallery, 1308 Main Street, Las Vegas, NV

This online exhibition received 494 entries from 183 artists. I am honored to have two of my paintings accepted. My thanks go to jurors Daniel J. Keys, Tai Meng Lim, and Kim Lordier.

Waiting in Red was so suited for this exhibition focused on the color red. I guess jurors, Marla Baggetta, Irina Klimova. and Stephie Clark, as well as judge, Sergey Pietilä, agreed because the painting received the Best in Show award.

My painting Kaffeklatsch won Second Place in the Gold Category and won the People's Choice award, as well.

Playing Piano on the Porch was selected to be a part of this international online exhibition

I am honored that my painting Turquoise Dress, Red Shoes was chosen to be included in this upcoming show. 

This exhibition received over 1000 entries from countries including China, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, France, Taiwan, Canada and the United States with 175 paintings selected. 

Jurors for this exhibition were New York-based National Academy artist Jimmy Wright, president of the Pastel Society of America, Halla Shafey, a multiple-award-winning pastel artist who has exhibited extensively in her home country of Egypt and beyond, and Ray Hassard, an Ohio based award-winning artist working in both pastel and oil.

I am proud that my painting California was selected to be part of the exhibition.

Green Car has won an Honorable Mention in the Landscape & Interior category (juried by Barbara Jaenicke) of the 18th Annual Pastel 100 Competition. An image of the painting is slated to appear in the April 2017 issue of Pastel Journal.
